Synthetic10-TR is a two-component water based additive to reduce vapor
emission levels in freshly poured concrete floors. The special chemical
components, water and fine epoxy resins mix easily with fresh concrete
paste or may mechanically troweled to the concrete surface as a curing
replacement. Each application improves the products penetration and
surface density. Application replaces traditional curing, sealing and water
curing methods.
Synthetic10-TR will maintain the concretes natural appearance and may
be sealed, coated and covered with a wide range of floor primers,
coatings and overlays.

- Synthetic10-TR is an additive to reduce water vapor emission and prepare the floor surface for flooring products, primers, coating and underlayements. Product is compatible, but not limited to the following products:
- • Vinyl composition tile
- • Sheet carpet and carpet tile
- • Ceramic tile, stone, marble
- • Latex, acrylic and SBR primers
- • Rubber tile, rubber sports floors and sheet goods
- • Sheet vinyl, linoleum tile and linoleum sheet goods
PREPARATION
Synthetic10-TR is directly applied to freshly poured concrete and requires no preparation methods. Consult Synthetics International's technical department for all recommendations.
MIXING
Read all mixing, safety and technical data prior to use. Product is mixed 1A:1B and has a 90 minute pot life. Mix product must be applied to concrete within 60 minutes.
EQUIPMENT
- • One (1) 15 gallon mixing drum with handles. Two (2) drums for pours over 5,000 square feet.
- • One (1) clean mixing paddle and one (1) low speed mixing drill
- • One hundred foot of sprayer cord or new hand held sprayer units
- • Five (5) gallons of water for cleaning equipment
- • Walk behind power trowel. Call to discuss ride machines.
APPLICATION
- Pour and place concrete
- Remove all concrete bleed water
- When the 2nd mechanical trowel process starts, apply 1 coat at 350 to 450 square feet per gallon
- Proper application will result in a solid WHITE coating that mixes into a cement like paste
- Do not apply during dewpoint, rain and temperatures falling below 50 degrees F
- Do not apply any type of curing and sealing products after the application of Synthetic10-TR

MOISTURE TESTING
Apply concrete vapor tests (ASTM F1869) and digital alkalinity-pH (www.dometest.com) tests directly on the Synthetic10-TR surface, use a clean towel to remove dust and debris. Do not grind or sand the surface. Perform testing when the building interior is acclimated.
Synthetics International warrants that its product shall be in accordance
with the specifications published in the current revision of the products
data sheet. Synthetics International covenants that in the event any of
its products fail to meet their published specifications, Synthetics
International shall replace the product proved to be defective.
Synthetics International shall not be responsible for any incidental or
consequential damages due to the breach of its warranties.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Synthetics International’s sole liability
hereunder shall not exceed the cost of the defective product originally
purchased. Except as set for forth above, Synthetics International
makes no other warranties expressed or implied and makes no
warranties as to the merchantability or fitness of the product for the
product for a purpose. The user must follow technical data and risks
and liabilities associated the installation process.
